Many plays are multi-locational and rely on lighting to transport the audience to many places and times of the day. I had a lot of fun creating a Dickensian atmosphere on Nicholas Nickleby which is so long it played across two separate evenings. We opened in Chichester and then toured the UK as well as playing at the Gielgud, London West End and in Toronto.
